Maltose syrup, also known as malt sugar, is made by liquefying, saccharifying and evaporating rice or starch.
Malt syrup is a viscous, light yellow or brown, slightly transparent liquid without visible impurities. It has a good malt aroma and taste, is stable under acidic conditions, has a high osmotic pressure, and a pure and smooth sweet taste.
Applications and Uses
It is very suitable for all kinds of candies. Biscuits, desserts, baked goods and jams.
